Three Installs That Reflect How We Work
Most people come to us after speaking to a few companies.
By that point, they’re usually not confused about products , they’re unsure who to trust.
These three installs from 2025 reflect how we try to remove that uncertainty.
PARC, Frankston
This project involved converting a large space inside an aquatic centre into a Pilates studio. The room had multiple ceiling heights, different levels, and a short turnaround.
Jobs like this can go wrong quickly if assumptions are made early.
We visited the site more than once, checked measurements carefully, and worked through how the space would actually be used before anything was ordered. That meant fewer decisions left to chance and no last-minute adjustments on install day.
The end result worked because the groundwork was done properly , not because it was rushed through.
Frank Diguilio, Bulleen
This was a new build with a large, double-height glass wall at the rear of the home. The solution involved a full-width motorised curtain system, paired with motorised blinds.
Rather than waiting until the house was finished, we were involved early. We worked with the homeowner, builder, and electrician to make sure wiring, tracking, and clearances were all resolved before manufacturing began.
That early involvement avoids the most common problems we see , systems that don’t quite fit, tracks in the wrong place, or compromises made too late to fix properly.
Adrian & Carla Indovino, Brighton East
This install involved motorised shutters in a configuration we hadn’t done before.
Instead of treating it as “close enough,” we slowed the process down. We checked measurements, talked through the implications, and made sure the system would function properly once installed.
It’s easier to push ahead and hope it works. We prefer to be certain.
What these installs say about Evans Curtains and Blinds
Across all three projects, the same principles applied:
We spend time before installation so there are no surprises after
We don’t recommend products until we understand how the space is used
The person you deal with at the start stays involved through to installation
We don’t promise timelines or outcomes we can’t control
We’d rather say no**,** or slow things down , than deliver something we’re not confident in
For most clients, that’s what builds trust.
Not big promises, just clear advice and steady follow-through.
If you want window furnishings done with that level of care, the process matters just as much as the product.
